Cisco Wireless :: Some AIR-CAP3502i-e-k9 Vo1 No Joining Network?

We've just replaced some 1240 LAPs with 20 x 3502i.
Seem to have a problem, most of the 14 * 3502i have regersted on the network and working, 6 arent connecting and log below. I've replaced one of the AP with a differnt one, same model and batch and this works.

Cisco Wireless :: AIR-CAP3502i-e-k9 Led Stop Working?

i've one of my 3500 that when finish to download the os, the front led stop working. During the power on and all the test the led is flashing in various colors pretty ipnotizing :-) When it bacame operative, the led stops. If i issue the test led flashing console command it works.

Cisco Wireless :: CAP3502I Not Responding For Traceroute_tracert

I have 1 cisco AP (CAP3502I) which is not able to associate with WLC (version 7.0.235.0), using CAPWAP. Simply from debug I can see that AP is trying to contact WLC on port udp/5246 but can't see any response from WLC.

AP is getting config about WLC from DHCP option 43 and have own reservation to get same IP address (+default GW). AP is NOT associated but as it has IP address from DHCP then it is pingable. But don't know why, but I'm not able to tracert/traceroute to this AP, as I can see it is getting packets but it is not responding.
But on different locations, where are same APs model (associated with WLC) I have no problem with traceroute it, as APs are responding.
My question: It is not related that AP is not able to associate with WLC (still working on it) BUT should I be able to traceroute/tracert to unassociated AP (to his IP) and get response???
NOTE:
> WLC is in DC and AP on one location, so diagram could be: WLC ---- L3 device ---- Provider MPLS router.....Provider MPLS router ---- L3 device -- L2 switch --- AP (CAPWAP)

Can i run both 2.4 and 5ghz at the same time? so my N user's can connect at 300Mpbs on the 5ghz bonded, and my G users can connect to 54Mbps?Also i ask because of coverage, my 5ghz does not cover as far as the 2.4 so those at the extremity's could at least get G with a good signal?

I'm wondering if there is an easy way to change the regulatory domain on a lightweight access point. The reason I'm asking is someone accidentally placed an order for AIR-CAP3502I-N-K9 access points instead of the AIR-CAP3502I-A-K9 flavored ones. I can see how it happened, since undoubtedly someone asked for the 'N' access points, thinking 802.11n, and the other person was thinking AIR-CAP3502I-'N'-K9.
do I have to RMA them, or is there a way to magically turn them into the ones flavored for the Americas?

Cisco :: AIR-CAP3502I Cannot Learn Option 43 From MS Server

ragarding AP AIR-CAP3502I cannot learn option 43 from MS server but it can learn the DHCP ip address. We have 2 sites that option 43 does not learned by new AP's but other site works ok. I tried also to delete and add the dhcp scope and same issue. My temporary solution will be creating the DHCP pool with option 43 and 60 in the access switch and it work ok, new AP's able to show in the WLC. I just need more information why site AP's cannot learn the option 43 of the MS server but other site AP's work ok. Is this IOS bug? AP's issue? MS issue?

Cisco Switching/Routing :: POE Devices Not Working As Expected AIR-CAP3502I-A-K9

I have 10 new AIR-CAP3502I-A-K9 connected to a WS-C3750X-48PF-L switch. 8 of the APs power on and connect perfectly, but two are problematic. Both devices are granted power, but they never go past the stage of getting power from the switch. A look at POE shows: [code]
Where the AP that is not working is connected to Gi1/0/4. The interface shows down/down. I've tried shutting the interface, removing power, cdp etc.
Are there any other tricks you can think of to get it working or would you say that it's 2 faulty APs? I am not based at site unfortunately so I cannot console to the APs and check them out.

If I enable both radio interfaces on new 892W with integrated access-point 801 the radio interfaces are reseting every 30 seconds. I have already tried different IOS version 12.x and 15.x on the router and the integrated ap. Also tried a a configuration from another 892W, which is working fine on the other router. Download pes 2015 pc google drive. Still same issue. If I disable one of the interfaces, doesn't matter which, the access point ist working fine.With both enabled log of the ap shows:

Cisco Routers :: RV180W Wireless Keeps Resetting Under Load?

This router keeps dropping all connections under a load of about 30 devices. everyone will lose internet access for a few minutes until it comes back. All settings are correct.This doesn't happen unless around 20-30 users are actively using their connections, both wired and wireless.

I have two 1252ag wireless access points running in lightweight mode, and connected to a 2006 wlc. They were both running fine until this morning. One of the 1252s won't stop rebooting itself. I consoled in, and this was the output -

My roommate and I recently got a WRT120N to replace an older Linksys router that was exhibiting the same problems with less frequency. It does this every 20 minutes to an hour and doesn't seem to be related to how much traffic it's dealing with.It's not just the internet going down, it's the entire network, and not even just the wireless part. My computer has a wired connection to the router and, and I get told 'A network cable has been unplugged' every time it happens. Then, if I look down at the router, I see no flashing lights, just the steady glow of the power light. It always fixes itself after 10-15 seconds, but it's very annoying. Certainly, playing games online or having a conversation on Skype is made more difficult.As previously mentioned, we replaced our older router because it was exhibiting the same behavior, but the new one does it with greater frequency. At the very least, the router does reset itself instead of needing us to cycle the power. The setup was slightly different with the old router: I was using a wireless connection with a WMP54Gv4 which I've had to disable since it bluescreens the moment it so much as sniffs a signal from the WRT120N?

D-Link DIR-615 :: Wireless Router Continuously Resetting Itself When Turned On

I have bought a DIR 615 router one week ago and although my main goal was to use it at better wireless speeds (using the N feature) it turned out that I can only use it as a normal router. The hardware version is H1 and the software ver is 8.0.
The problem is that whenever I turn on the wireless with default configuration, the router immediately starts resetting by itself over and over again. Sometimes it doesn't reconnect, but as soon as I try to connect to it using one of my laptops, it immediately starts restarting. After it starts the continuous resetting, it is very hard to reset its settings using the hardware reset button, because I don't even have time to press it for 10 seconds. If the wireless is turned off, everything works.

so th ecommon points here are one one using wifi threw router and has restrictions on it and outer is me with the linksys app to log into my rrouter and make a change like yuring on parental controls on.
but what happens is the router will reboot and renames itself to cisc05179 and cleared all protection and sets router to unsecured.

NOTHING works tried rebooting the WRT120N. I tried both holding the reset button in, as well as holding the reset button in along with pulling the power adapter cord. Neither of these achieved the desired result (which would be the resetting of the factory username and password to 'admin/admin'.

NOTHING works tried rebooting the WRT120N. I tried both holding the reset button in, as well as holding the reset button in along with pulling the power adapter cord. Neither of these achieved the desired result (which would be the resetting of the factory username and password to 'admin/admin'.

Cisco Wireless :: WiSM In Catalyst 6509 - Resetting To Factory Mode

I have been having some issues trying to stand up an older WiSM that has been incorrectly configured by my predecesssor and has a bad Mgt IP so I am unable to telnet or SSH into it, nor can I console or session into it.
What I would like to do is to change the Mgt address for the WiSM controllers (1 and 2) by way of the Sup (not sure that is possible) because as it stands they are set to 169.254.1.1 and are unreachable even when directly consoled into them.

No Wireless Internet Connection After Resetting Linksys Wrt160n V3 Router?

specs: linksys router wrt160n v3, verizon modem gt701c, windows xp service pack 3, verizon DSL, southern california.I have been able to connect to the internet directly through the modem only..but i need my wireless back working. I've reset my router a few times recently trying things i've read on forums from people with similar problems. The most recent thing i did was RESET the router -> connected modem/router/computer properly -> turned them all back on in the proper order -> check to see if websites would open. They didn't so i tried doing this, which was suggested..i plugged the router into the computer and enabled MAC address and then pressed the Clone MAC address button and saved..then I tturned everything off again and rebooted everything again in the proper order and still couldn't load any web pages. Here are my IPCONFIG/ALL read outs for both when i'm hooked up with the router & modem (which isnt working) and directly to the modem (which is working) this is the one with the router & modem:

My modem and wireless were working fine for years..and then recently without me doing anything my modem kept dropping connection and the internet and dsl lights kept flashing and then going back solid..so i'd be connected for a few minutes and then they'd start flashing again over and over all the time. I finally called verizon and then had me fiddle around with stuff..followed all their directions..but ended up only being able to connect while directly connected to the modem. Even then, the modem was still losing connection and getting it back. (i was supposed to schedule a house call for a tech to check it out, never did) Over a couple weeks the connection ended up getting better on its own, so now it pretty much never drops out anymore. (almost) i've reset my modem, i've reset my router..i just still cant seem to get websites working with my modem and wireless router connected.

I have a WRT54G router Ver. 5 with firmware v. 1.02.5. This is the second time this has happened to me but the router reset itself to the factory defaults. I lost all my configurations. I'm saving the configuration this time but it will be annoying to keep having to reconfigure the router.

Putting this router back in service, I reset (10 and 30 sec hold) until lights flashed. Unplugged it. Came back and connected to computer. Used default u/n = blank and p/w = admin -- doesn't work, can't get to control screen. Tried various combinations and still won't work. How do I get router to respond?

I've been using Linksys for years but the last two routers I have purchased have been very problematic.
- My router hasn't had this problem before. The other day I was downloading 4 games at a time from STEAM, when I got home from work I found that my router had completely gone back to factory settings. So I configured my DSL PPPoE, SSID, Wireless Security (WPA) changed the default admin PW and about 20 minutes later it was back to factory again.
I've done a 'hard' reset and reconfigured and still it resets itself. What's also upsetting is this completely opens my network up to ANYONE when this happens..
So far in the past 2 days I have (now using a backup restore file) re-configured the device 10 times.
The only thing I can think of is that I just got Windows 7 the same day this started happening. I thought it could be STEAM as well so right now I have STEAM closed to see if it resets while it isn't running.
Could TOO much demand on the router cause it to completely reset itself to factory config?? Seems to me like there's a huge firmware or hardware problem here.
I have other friends and even co-workers that also have problems galore with their Linksys products..No other router it seems has as MANY issues as Linksys. Hat to say it but my next purchase most likely will not be another one of their products. This just shouldn't be happening.

I was given this router (it's my 3rd one) and cannot get the reset button to reset the password. I have run throught a 30/30/30 reset as well as just holding the button in for the standard 30 seconds.
I know the router works, as in i can ping it. It asks for a password when i go to 192.168.1.1, but *blank* and 'admin' do not work. When i click the cancel button it displays a pink(salmon) screen that says '401 Unauthorized Authrization required'. (all of this is when i am connected to it with an ethernet cable to #1)
When it's sitting there it has an led lit over power and one ove wlan which flickers from time to time.
